My Longevity Recipes

Healthy eating doesn’t mean counting calories, following complicated meal plans or spending hours in the kitchen. After years of experimenting with different diets, recipes and nutritional approaches, I realised that the simplest system was also the one I could maintain for the long term. Instead of collecting hundreds of recipes that I rarely cooked, I reduced everything to four versatile meal types: soups, salads, smoothies and stir-fries. Together, they provide a practical framework that makes it easy to eat a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, healthy fats and quality proteins without feeling restricted or overwhelmed: The 4S Kitchen Framework.

This approach isn’t intended to be another diet. It’s simply a flexible way of building meals around whole, minimally processed ingredients while naturally increasing the diversity of plants consumed each week. Whether the goal is supporting longevity, reducing inflammation, improving metabolic health or simply making healthy eating easier, these four meal types can be adapted to almost any dietary preference or season. They can be prepared in advance, varied endlessly and adjusted to include organic meat, sustainably sourced fish or plant-based proteins, depending on individual needs.

Throughout this collection you’ll find recipes inspired by Mediterranean cooking, traditional herbal wisdom and evidence-informed nutrition. Many are naturally low in refined carbohydrates, rich in colourful vegetables, herbs and spices, and designed to support my own preference for intermittent fasting and whole-food eating. Rather than chasing perfection, the emphasis is on creating meals that are enjoyable enough to become part of everyday life.

If you’re interested in the thinking behind this approach, I explain the philosophy in more detail in The 4S Kitchen Framework: A Simpler Way to Eat Healthy Meals Without the Cognitive Overload, where I describe how simplifying my cooking transformed the way I shop, prepare meals and think about nutrition. The recipes in this section are the practical expression of that idea, providing simple, nourishing meals that can be mixed, matched and adapted as your tastes, health goals and the seasons change.
